Thank you for shopping with Scottie Crafts - New Zealand's craft and scrapbooking online shop.
We take pride in supplying quality scrapbooking and craft products and it is important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
1.0 General
Scottie Crafts is an incorporated New Zealand company. All Scottie Crafts website activities come under New Zealand legal jurisdiction.
Scottie Crafts is committed to following business practices. To this end we assure customers that the operation of this website follows the Model Code for Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce published by the New Zealand Ministry of Commerce, and that we faithfully observe our obligations as set out by the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
2.0 Privacy Policy
Scottie Crafts respects your right to privacy.
In order to best process your order, we require information such as your name, email or contact number, delivery address and payment details. Other information will also be collected with your permission from time to time.
We do not sell or supply information you have provided to us unless:
a) In the instance of debt collection we will pass relevant information to such agencies should the need arise.
b) When we detect breach of copyright or fraud, or the theft of our property, or unlawful activity against or upon the Scottie Crafts website. In this case information will be passed to our legal representatives or law enforcement agencies.
We retain customer information for accounting and credit records and for communicating with matters related to your purchase and for general information communications, if you have requested to receive them. We only send information to customers who agree to receive it. We do not send out "spam" to members in any way.We retain the following information:
a) Details you submit (type in) to our website such as your full name, including but not limited to, physical address, phone number, email address, the name and physical address and phone number of a gift recipient for goods you have purchased for them.
b) The date of purchase and related purchase details.
c) The Internet Service Provider (ISP) used by you to connect to Scottie Crafts.
d) And non identifiable information for surveys and market research.
This information is stored in a password accessed secure database.
3.0 Pricing
Prices displayed on "Scottie Crafts” website are subject to change without notice. Prices may be adjusted for any reason and may vary at any time.
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include GST on the website.
4.0 Returns and Refunds policy
Our returns and refunds policy does not override any existing protection you have under New Zealand consumer rights protection or the sale of goods laws.
You may return a purchase if:
a) It is faulty (malfunctions)
b) It is damaged during transit.
c) You receive the incorrect goods.
5.0 Damaged or Faulty Goods
Except where required by law, you must return damaged goods within 14 days of receipt. If a product is later deemed to be faulty, normal warranty conditions for that product apply. It is the recipient's responsibility to incur all costs and to follow warranty instructions as stated on the product warranty card as specified by the manufacturer.
6.0 Faulty Goods
If the item purchased does not function correctly on receipt, or fails within the warranty period (manufacturer’s warranty) please contact us immediately to notify us of the issue. You will need to have your invoice handy. If the goods come with a manufacturer’s warranty then we will assist you with following the manufacturer’s instructions. If the goods do not hold a manufacturer’s warranty we offer our own 30 day return-to-base warranty. We will endeavour to repair or replace the faulty product as soon as we can. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced for some reason we will refund the full amount.
7.0 Incorrect Goods
In the unlikely event that there be an error with the picking of your order, or the recipient does not receive the goods intended, please notify us immediately by phone or email. Please note, you will need your invoice handy. We will organize to have the product collected and will send you the correct item at no extra charge.
8.0 Back-Ordered Items
If an item is not available you will be notified by email and given the option of changing your order or requesting a refund. If you do not wish to select an alternative product, your purchase will be refunded.
9.0 Sale Items
No returns are given on sale items. All sales are final.
10.0 Gift Vouchers
a. Scottie Crafts Gift vouchers and unused portions of gift vouchers should be spent within 12 months from the date of purchase.
b. Scottie Crafts Gift vouchers must be redeemed through the Scottie Crafts store for any items. Unit 4A, 89A Ellice Road, Glenfield 0629, Auckland, New Zealand.
c. Scottie Crafts Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. A refund can not be issued to the purchaser of Gift vouchers up to the expiry date of the Gift voucher.
d. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient’s Gift voucher account and is not transferable.
e. If the order exceeds the amount of your Scottie Crafts Gift voucher, the purchaser must pay for the balance of the order.
f. Scottie Crafts Gift vouchers and their use on Scottie Crafts website are subject to the Scottie Crafts general terms & conditions.
g. Scottie Crafts Ltd can not be held responsible for lost or stolen Scottie Crafts Gift vouchers.
h. Scottie Crafts Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be sent at least 30 days in advance to the last known email addresses of all purchasers of Scottie Craft Gift vouchers.
11.0 Limitation of Liability
Scottie Crafts will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly in connection with the supply to you of goods and services from our website, except to the extent that such liability is not lawfully excluded under the applicable law.
Scottie Crafts expressly exclude liability for indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss or damage which may arise as a result of supplying goods or services to you in respect of other equipment or property, for loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.
In the event that any exclusion contained in these terms and conditions is held to be invalid for any reason and Scottie Crafts becomes liable for loss or damage that may lawfully be limited, such liability shall be limited to the amount originally paid by you to acquire the goods or services, or the repair or replacement of the goods, at our discretion.
12.0 Product information and pricing
Prices of goods and services and delivery and other charges displayed are all current at time of display. All pricing is in New Zealand dollars. These prices are subject to variation without notice.
We will always make our best efforts to ensure information displayed in product descriptions and pricing is accurate. We are unable to warrant that the product descriptions or other content of the website is accurate, complete, and reliable or error free.
You agree that prices displayed on Scottie Crafts do not constitute an offer on our part and that we retain the right to correct any price that is incorrectly displayed at the time we confirm your order. Should this correction in price no longer suit, you may withdraw your order at this time.
13.0 Disclaimer
The information relating to products displayed on Scottie Crafts is sourced from a variety of manufacturers and suppliers and is displayed in good faith. We, to the best of our ability, will ensure at all times that the information displayed is accurate. We do not make any representation or warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of this information due to the fact that manufacturers and suppliers reserve the right to alter product models, specifications, packaging and service offerings without notification.
All information displayed, relating to products and services offered by Scottie Crafts is for general informational purposes only and we are not responsible for any purchase decision you make with regards to suitability of a product or service for the purpose you have in mind.
To the extent permitted by the applicable law, Scottie Crafts disclaims all warranties with respect to products and services either express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
14.0 Payment
You can pay for your goods online or by mail. We accept Visa and MasterCard via our secure online order form only. Credit cards are verified for your protection. Alternatively, you can email your order to us at customerservice@scottiecrafts.co.nz or you can print out and fax your completed order form to (09) 415 0040 or phone your order to (09) 415 0040.
If you choose to order online, we will send, to the address supplied, an automatically generated email to notify that we have received your order. This notice does not guarantee that the order is confirmed or approved.
15.0 Security Policy

Scottie Crafts uses secure server software. All information including your name, address and credit card number are encrypted for your protection. All information remains confidential on the internet using our security system.
15.2 Phone Orders
When placing a phone order, payment must be made by cheque or online banking.
15.3 Cookies
It will not be possible to use the shopping cart system if your browser rejects cookies.
Cookies are used to track what's in your shopping cart.
16.0 Scottie’s Rendez-Vous
1. If a customer purchases over $60 (including GST), the customer will get ONE FREE Scottie’s Rendez-vous coupon.
2. Scottie’s Rendez-vous coupon allows the customer to get a free small flat white coffee or equivalent value coffee.
3. Scottie’s Rendez-vous coupons should be used within 3 months from the date of purchase.
3. Scottie’s Rendez-vous coupon must be redeemed through Ellice Café at Unit 1A, Ellice Road, Glenfield for a flat white or equivalent value per cup of coffee.
5. Scottie’s Rendez-vous coupons are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
6. Scottie Crafts Ltd can not be held responsible for lost or stolen Scottie’s Rendez-vous coupons.
7. Scottie Crafts Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be sent at least 30 days in advance to the last known email addresses of all purchasers of Scottie Crafts.

The offer running on Woman's Weekly on November 19th 2012 does NOT include the items from the following categories: Wendy's World, Bev's Bargains, pre-Orders, Gift Vouchers and Classes.

You may update, terminate or edit your membership account at any time.
Please note: for members, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your username and passwords and any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you are using the internet and Scottie Crafts. If you, for any reason, suspect somebody is aware of your password details, please change it immediately.
18.0 Modifications of Terms of Use
Scottie Crafts reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time without notice Scottie Crafts accepts no liability or responsibility as a result of these changes.
